1. Visited London
For the longest time I’ve wanted to go and visit London and finally this year I did with one of my best friend. We had an absolutely splendid time and it was everything I would have imagine. I made a special little blogpost about the three highlights from our awesome trip
I was in need of a restart at the end of the year so I decided to redecorating my tiny apartment. There isn’t much to play around with, and I’m not fully done yet, but I positive it will be my cozy little castle when I’m all done.
3. Spa day with my sister
I was treated to an amazing and relaxing afternoon with my wonderful sister in the beginning of the summer and it was glorious. I usually don’t treat myself to stuff like that so it was kind of nice to have an entire afternoon of massages and warm bubble baths.
4. Celebrating my parents 5th anniversary
While many other parents are celebrating their 30th anniversary as a married couple my parents hit the 5 year mark this fall. They had one of those 25 year long engagements before finally sealing the deal in 2010. Yay!
5. Said goodbye to our beloved dog
She will always be loved and missed and I hope she’s having a wonderful time wherever she may be.
More traveling! My solo travel for the year was a small trip to Warsaw, Poland. I didn’t have a lot of expectations beforehand I just needed to get away for a few days and Warsaw just happened to end up as my destination. After spending a few days in the city I can definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a beautiful city with a lot of history.
7. Went through a break-up
Blah. It happened, it sucked and I’m moving on.
Oh my god the struggle was real this year! But I did it! I made it to 50000 words and no matter how sucky my story was I still sat down and I wrote it. Take that my own lazy ass. I sure showed you!
9. Started a blog
Yes! I started this thing! I know I haven’t used it a lot during the year but that will all change in 2016. I’m making this an official promise to myself that I will deliver content to this blog every week for the entirety of 2016.
All in all I would say 2015 was a pretty good year. A lot of changes but in the end I think they will be good for me and my future self. Here’s to an even better 2016!
I wish you all the best in 2016.
