Tomorrow is the starting point of NaNoWriMo and since my last 2 posts has been around this topic and my entire twitter account has been about NaNoWriMo for the past 2 weeks you can probably guess the level of excitement going through my mind.
I’m currently on my way up to Gothenburg to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary. 5 years y’all! Yay my parents! But in the back of my mind I’m going “It’s nano-weekend, it’s nano-time, it’s NANOWRIMO!!!!”
These are my goals for the month to come.
1. At one point write more than 6700 words in a day. This is my record so far for most words written in a single day and I want to beat that. Badly.
2. Finish my story! Okay, I know the rules says that you have to write a novel with at least 50000 words in 30 days. And while I’ve been able to hit 50000 words the previous 4 years I’ve never actually written the words THE END. This is the year!
3. Make a Nano-journal in video format. Like this! I know, I’m all about ripping other people off. But this is a great idea and a fun way to document my progress without it taking too much time from my writing.
Usually I start writing the minute midnight strikes on the 1st of November but I don’t know if I’ll be able to do that this year considering anniversary celebrations and stuff! But I’ll be in the car for 4 hours traveling home on Sunday afternoon so that time will come in handy.
In other updates I’ve bought a package of 100 teabags so I’m set and ready for the cold November night when I’ll be doing most of my writings. I’ve also baked about 30 buns since this has been my go to snack for the past few years and I don’t want to spend my money buying the expensive once at the store (cheap bastard that I am).
I hope you all have a good few days in the beginning of Nanowrimo and gets ahead of your writing. Are you feeling ready for tomorrow and Nanowrimo?
Lets bring on November!
